30 Days Challange & Ikigai

Image
One of my favorite parts of my MDE journey was the "30 Days Challenge". Because it was great to contribute to our development by steadily progressing towards a goal within the specified time. We all set a routine for our own development and had the opportunity to observe our progress by following this routine. Although I have been interested in meditation since I was little, there are only a number of moments when I can focus and meditate properly. Although my yoga practices have helped me a lot in this regard, it has always been difficult for me to spare time or stay focused on the "moment".  In this article, I won't go into the topics of "What is meditation and why is it useful?", but I have to make a small recap here. The main thing in meditation is to be able to stay in the "moment" by isolating yourself from external factors. I have a request from you: for just for 30 seconds please try not to think about anything, and you won't beli...

How Do We Have a "Growth Mindset"?

Every word that comes out of our mouth really reflects our thoughts, or at some point what we say becomes our truth. That's why someone who talks about failing...

Mindset Matters

Although I have always described myself as open to new ideas and flexible, I sometimes observed that I was internally reacting differently and feeling stuck in unexpected situations that happened to me. Don't pretend to be surprised, sometimes you experience this too, admit it! :) After many achievements I have gained during the MDE journey, when I look back, the "growth mindset" approach was the most striking and impressing approach in my mind. What was the reason I was affected? Of course, it was not that I had this approach at all, but it was really impressive for me to see the contributions of this way of thinking and move forward by asking the right questions, making this thinking style suitable for everyone with certain techniques. So basically what are the concepts of "growt mindset" and "fixed minset", let's see together. Over 30 years ago, Carol Dweck and her colleagues became interested in students' attitudes about failure. They notic...
